For Alfred
You either love or hate Al's Palace, the blog by the outspoken and abrasive Alfred.
I recently stumbled upon this "how-to" piece on starting an internet talk show.
I'm sure Al could be bigger than Rush in the world of conservative talk radio (albeit internet).
How to be an Internet Talk Show Host in under an hour! (9 Easy Steps)

How to be an Internet Talk Show Host in under an hour! (9 Easy Steps)
- Make sure your broadband or DSL connection is properly set up and maintaining a steady internet connection.
- Visit www.shoutcast.com and download the Shoutcast software, including Winamp and all plug-ins, and follow the instructions to install and configure it.
- Visit www.skype.com and download the Skype software. This is what is known as a Voice Over IP phone and is necessary if you want to take live calls during shows or wish to broadcast over another network.
- If you wish to have more than a handful of listeners tune in to your broadcasts, you will have to pay for bandwidth. Visit http://shoutcast.serverroom.us and choose a plan that best suits you. Plans can be purchased to accommodate anywhere from 30 up to "Unlimited" listeners.
- Hook up your PC or studio mic, any mixers you may have, and headphones.
- Have topics ready. The great thing about Internet radio is that there are no limits to what you can say or do. While copyright guidelines do exist when it comes to playing music, FCC regulations do not pertain to the Internet. Free speech at its best!
- If you are recording your broadcast, load up any recording software (Sound Forge, Adobe Audition, etc) and click record.
- Load up and connect your Shoutcast software.

"if there is any justice in the world, she will be eating out of garbage cans by the end of the year!!!"
-Bob opines on Nancy Pelosi
Alfred has also posted on the subject, as has Jimmy.
Has anyone noticed how these people so quickly rely on the "idiot defense" each time a scandal arises?
Either they're lying or incompetent.Neither quality should be tolerated in a leader.
Michael Savage rants on Pelosi as well:
I like where this appears to be going.Soon we'll all be singing that song from The Wizard Of Oz.

"When did the government get into the freaking car business?!!!"

Here goes another rant from Bob:
"General Motors is at it again. A report came out today that says General Motors spent 2.8 million dollars in order to lobby the government for more money. We already gave these people billions in the freaking bailouts. Then they take 3 million of that money and use it to ask us for more money. are you freaking kidding me?! This is like your father going bankrupt. Then taking his credit card down to the store buying a 500 dollar suit in order to go to the bank and ask for a freaking loan! Ask yourself. Why didn't GM use that 3 million to pay some of the workers they've been laying off for the last couple of months? Why didn't GM take that 3 million and invest it back into their ailing company? Do you know why GM is failing right now? NOT because of the bad economy. Because they suck! Because their management is a freaking joke! And I know what you're saying, but Bob they're an "American company". We have to help out the "American company". Thats all propaganda this "American company" nonsense. You know where GM gets a lot of their freaking parts? Mexico and Germany! You know where a lot of GM cars are assembled? Mexico and Canada! So don't give me this American company nonsense. You know what my definition of an American Company is? A company that hires American workers. Toyota has an American Company in this country and they are successful. They hire American workers. We should have taken the bailout money we gave to GM and given it to Toyota. Maybe they could haver opened up another plant and hired the workers that GM is going to have to fire in the next couple of months! But, No. We have to help GM. Do you know that the government is giving people 5000 dollars towards the purchase of a GM car? If you have an old car you can drive it into a GM dealer and THE GOVERNMENT will give you 5000 dollars towards a new GM car. Are you freaking kidding me?! Why?!! When did the government get into the freaking car business?!!! The government is also backing GM warranties. If you buy a GM car and GM goes out of business the government will honor that warranty. are you kidding me?! HOW!!! How are they going to do this? Is there a auto repair shop underneath the White House that nobody told me about? Is Barack Obama going to come out in a pair of overalls and a wrench and start fixing cars? No!! I'll tell you how the government is going to honor those warranties if GM goes out of business. they're going to take YOUR freaking tax dollars and start paying auto repair shops all over the freaking country to fix those freaking freaking cars!! That's how they're going to do it!"

Drinking With Bob:Rush Limbaugh and Barack Obama
"Barack Obama and the Democrats are doing everything in their power to silence Rush Limbaugh. My question is WHY?!!!
Is the Obama administration so fragile that Rush Limbaugh is a threat? Is Obama's message and plan so weak that Rush Limbaugh is a threat? if so what is going to happen when a real threat like China or Russia or the Middle East comes around? Are Obama and the democrats going to whine about them being mean too?
It's amazing. George Bush had to deal with dissent from the media for 8 years and you never heard him complain. Obama's been in office for a week and a half and he's already complaining.
I guess things have CHANGED."
Alfred posts a Rush petition.

JFK
The 35th president of the United States was assassinated in Dallas, Texas 45 years ago, today.
Al's Palace has a great post on the matter.
It really is good, once you get past the crude title.
I was pleasantly surprised.

"October Surprise"
The following video was produced by Illuminati Pictures.Entitled October Surprise, it is a short interview with Philip J. Berg, a lawyer and Democratic politician who has brought suit upon the Obama campaign, requiring Obama to present birth documents proving that he is a natural born citizen. The Obama campaign has not complied and obstructed this suit. If nothing else, this is just another instance of Obama keeping his past shrouded in mystery, even if it doesn't necessarily mean that he's not eligible to be president.via Conservative Punk.

The Lil' O'Reilly Factor
via LiveLeak.com
This awesome Kid-vid has all the rant and rage of the real O'Reilly!
Is this just another case of child brainwashing?
If so, at least this one entertains.
I love the little flip-out at the end, just like Ol' Bill on Inside Edition.

(S)Election '08: The Debates Begin

I've remained silent, thus far, about last weeks presidential debate.
I'll now link to some coverage of that train wreck. I refer to it as such, because I found it painful to view, yet watched anyway with that same type of morbid curiosity.
May I also note the conspicuous absence of coverage from two of my politically, outspoken peers.
I'll begin with funnyman Jackie Mason. No one is laughing as this comedian reports succinctly on the event. He points out that Obama's "I voted against the war" declaration would have come at a time when he was not yet in the senate.
"Although neither candidate had a clear victory Friday night, the media is saying Obama won because he didn't lose. He looked poised and presidential. Well he did look poised as he made no sense! And if looking Presidential is telling bold lies, then Hail to the Chief!"
Next up,from the blogosphere is Alfred's coverage and his summation.
Finally, The Red State Update boys inject a bit of levity with their latest vlog in anticipation of the upcoming VP debate, which they also liken to a train wreck--with "trains full o' drunk clowns ridin' talkin' ponies..." This video is very funny, a must-see.
