Barrel House Annie was an obscure female pioneer of blatantly sexual metaphors within pre-war Chicago blues music.
Her best known songs are “If It Don’t Fit (Don’t Force It)”, “Ain’t Gonna Give It Away”, “Must Get Mine In Front” and “Love Operation”, all recorded in March of 1937.
